August 2009: WYCHCRAFT Call for vendors for SUNDAY Septmber 27, 2009.
WychCraft Market will be held on Sunday September 27 from 10am until 6pm, as well as on the Saturday the 26, 2009.
The Sixth Annual St. Clair Arts Festival and Studio Tour will be taking place September 26th and 27th, and it always draw lots of traffic to the area between Bathurst and Christie Avenue mainly but also along to Dufferin. Also, the Local Business Improvement Associations are holding events on St. Clair that weekend, as are the St. Michael and All Angels Church, the St. Mathews Church on St. Clair, and The Artscape Wychwood Art Barns. We've joined forces to advertise/promote the events below and to animate St. Clair Ave West between Bathurst and Winona all weekend long. Expected attendance is around 5000 people.
WychCraft Market will be advertized in various marketing initiatives.
There will be large newspaper ads (view PDF of ad here) and multiple online and email newsletter distributions listing all the events for Saturday and Sunday in the area.
Look for the "Weekend of Wonder" ads in:
- Ad in The St. Clair Avenue Magazine, the Forest Hill Town Crier, And the York Guardian.
- WychCraft + Artwalk + Artscape + Wychwood Business Improvement Assoc., e-newsletter distribution list.
- Farmers market flyer distribution.
- Listings of all events in The Artwalk Festival Program (Approx 12,000 copies).
- Various online promo listings like Kijiji, Craig's List, Etc.
- Each organization is also doing their own promos as well.
4. 2009 Artwalk Youth Zone at the Green P parking lot
An all ages Event: 10:00a.m. to 9:30p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009, 646 St. Clair Avenue West (between Wychwood and Pinewood). Buskers, live music, dance and so much more. Join us for a fantastic day of musical entertainment including R&B singing sensation Kim Davis and the phenomenal beat box crew Sick Sound Syndrome. Get your groove on to DJ Klymatik. Participate in the creation of a 4 panel community art piece. Be inspired to present your own artistic piece at the free style zone (appropriate material for all ages). Featured Entertainer: Kollage with Archie Alleyne (jazz) 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Join us for the best of St. Clair has to offer at the 2009 ArtWalk Festival. (Wychwood Heights BIA Event)
